UniCredit has partnered with FAI (Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano) to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, climate action, and the preservation of Italy’s cultural and natural heritage. The collaboration focuses on climate change mitigation, reducing water consumption, and protecting biodiversity, aligning closely with UniCredit’s purpose of empowering communities to progress.
At UniCredit, we believe that empowering communities means investing in both people and the places they call home. That’s why we are proud to announce a new partnership with FAI the national non-profit foundation committed to protecting Italy’s rich cultural, historical, and environmental heritage.
FAI, inspired by the model of the National Trust, plays a leading role in safeguarding the treasures of Italy’s landscape and history. Our collaboration with FAI marks a strategic step in our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.
A Partnership Built on Shared Purpose
Our support will focus on three core pillars of FAI’s environmental strategy:

2. Reducing Water Footprint
