UniCredit protects health and wellbeing of customers and employees with the launch of multichannel UBook service in Italy. Over 65,000 appointments made in less than a week

As our countries progressively ease restrictions and lockdown measures, UniCredit continues to adapt its safety measures in branches to the new conditions. This includes providing hand disinfectant gel, requiring protective masks to be worn over the mouth and nose, using signs with reminders to maintain physical distance, installing plexiglass panels in the checkout areas and restricting the number of customers in the branch at the same time.

In Italy, all branch visits will continue to be managed mainly by appointment. To make access easier, the bank this week launched UBook, a new service accessible through the all remote channels: the website www.unicredit.it,  online banking,  the mobile app and also through UniCredit Direct (toll-free number 800.32.32.85.)

UBook will become the only appointment management tool for our customers going forward, promoting a new approach to the organisation of our in-branch activities and improving the customer experience. This new tool is a further example of UniCredit’s ongoing commitment to developing and strengthening our remote banking services, whilst ensuring customers who need to visit a branch can do so.
