EduAction 2026: Building stronger communities through education
Friday 26 June 2026
UniCredit Foundation and Teach For All have successfully concluded EduAction 2026, the fourth edition of the annual initiative that promotes educational opportunities and career guidance for young people through the direct involvement of students, teachers, educators and volunteers across Europe.
Held from 13 to 24 April, EduAction 2026 brought together seven European countries through more than 50 activities designed for students, teachers and local stakeholders. Thanks to the collaboration between UniCredit Foundation, Teach For All network partners and UniCredit volunteers, the initiative directly reached more than 1,200 students and over 95 teachers, representing a 42% increase in student participation compared with the previous edition.
This year's edition opened with the international webinar From Engagement to Empowerment: Mobilizing Communities for Deep Systems Change, which brought together more than 75 professionals from the education, development and humanitarian sectors to explore the role of local partnerships and community collaboration in driving lasting change across education systems.
Throughout the two-week programme, students took part in financial and digital education workshops, career guidance activities, meetings with professionals, mentoring programmes, company visits and hands-on learning experiences designed to strengthen skills, self-confidence and awareness of future opportunities. Activities across the participating countries addressed issues that are particularly relevant for younger generations, including financial education, digital safety, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and preparation for the world of work.
"Every young person should have the opportunity to develop their full potential, regardless of the circumstances in which they grow up. EduAction was created with this belief at its core. Through our partnership with Teach For All and the commitment of UniCredit volunteers, we create meaningful opportunities for learning, career guidance and dialogue that can make a real difference in the lives of many students. We are proud to see this initiative continue to grow year after year, not only in its reach but also in its ability to build meaningful connections between schools, communities and the world of work, helping to create new opportunities for future generations."
Silvia Cappellini, General Manager of UniCredit Foundation
Now in its fourth year, EduAction continues to demonstrate the strength of the partnership between UniCredit Foundation and Teach For All in tackling educational inequality and supporting the potential of future generations. By bringing together schools, educators, local communities and volunteers, the initiative helps create more inclusive pathways for growth and expands opportunities for young people across Europe.
