The UniCredit Art Collection is one of the largest corporate collections in Europe, comprising tens of thousands of various assets, from ancient archaeological finds to classical and contemporary works of art, as a result of the artistic choices and passion for art that has always characterised UniCredit.

It was created with a clear purpose: to make art accessible to an ever-wider audience, both through digital platforms and physical initiatives.

Among these, short term loans and long term loans to museum institutions play a key role, allowing artworks to move beyond corporate spaces and engage in dialogue with local communities, becoming a vehicle for connections and networks within the areas where we operate.

This commitment translates into strong relationships with cultural and museum institutions across the territory, which, thanks to our consignments, can enrich and complement their collections. It is more than just sharing: it is a tangible contribute on to the dissemination of culture and the enhancement of artistic heritage.

To explore this further, we interviewed Denis Isaia, curator at the MART – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, which hosts some of our works on consignment. Isaia shared his thoughts on the importance of making museums accessible and liveable today, turning them into open and inclusive spaces where art becomes an experience and a meeting point.

“The moment a work becomes part of a museum’s hodings, it also becomes part of a broader narrative, a broader context. This is precisely the narrative of our times.
- Denis Isaia
