UniCredit Main partner of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival

Since 1994 UniCredit has been a Main Partner of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival, the most spectacular opera festival in the world. Conscious of culture's value as an engine of social and economic development, we have been supporting this Italian excellence for more than 30 years. In line with our purpose of Empowering Communities to Progress, we believe that building strong relationships with our key stakeholders creates long-term value and collective growth.

The collaboration between UniCredit and Fondazione Arena di Verona represents a union between two great institutions - leaders of expressing, in their respective fields, a national and international vocation, testifying to the Bank's broader commitment to the cultural and artistic sector and, this year in particular, to learning as a concrete testimony of trust in the new generations.

In fact, this partnership has been the starting point for the learning and professional growth project U Are Invited, developed by Fondazione Arena di Verona in collaboration with Teach for Italy (TFI) - a third sector organisation that works to strengthen Italian public schools starting from the contexts where the challenges related to educational poverty are biggest. The initiative aims to open the world of work in the Theater to the network of TFI schools, offering concrete opportunities to learn about the professions of art and entertainment alongside great professionals.

2026 Arena di Verona Opera Festival

The 103rd Arena di Verona Opera Festival 2026 will take place from June 12 to September 12, with a season that promises to be full of events, featuring 50 evenings of performances including operas, concerts, special events, and dance in the iconic Roman amphitheater.

In 2026, the Festival will present a series of iconic operas which, through both modern and classic productions, will bring the Arena to life. The world’s most beloved and most frequently performed opera, La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, will open the 103rd Festival. New emotions, the timeless magic: the story of Violetta returns to move us in a brand-new production. Also by Giuseppe Verdi, Aida will return in two productions: Stefano Poda’s daring, luminous, revolutionary “crystal” staging and the legendary Franco Zeffirelli production.

Nabucco returns in a poetic and visionary production once again signed by Stefano Poda.

Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème, in Alfonso Signorini’s staging, and Turandot, which celebrates its first century of life, will also be featured, with the fairy‑tale production born from the imagination of Franco Zeffirelli: an Arena production that set box‑office records, featuring costumes by Academy Award winner Emi Wada.

In addition to the operas, the Festival also includes special events such as the dance performance Roberto Bolle and Friends, Carmina Burana, and Viva Vivaldi.

All the shows of the 103rd Arena di Verona Opera Festival 2026 are already on sale.
