Employees of UniCredit, the owner of Zagrebačka banka, and the UniCredit Foundation joined forces in a fundraising campaign to provide financial support to the Croatian Red Cross and the Voice of Entrepreneurs Association.

In order to show their support to the citizens from the affected areas and their Zagrebačka banka colleagues, employees of UniCredit Group, together with the UniCredit Foundation, donated more than €100,000.

The Croatian Red Cross will direct those funds towards the charity campaign “For earthquake victims in Croatia”, and the Voice of Entrepreneurs Association will use them for their “Entrepreneurs for the Sisak-Moslavina County” campaign to purchase heaters, construction materials, containers for business and residential purposes, and for construction of houses.

“We are happy with the response and support of colleagues from UniCredit and the UnCredit Foundation who joined Zagrebačka banka in donations for the earthquake-affected areas. This is a way for us to show once again that, as a Bank and the Group, we are always ready to respond and help the community and all those who need help the most,” commented Romeo Collina, President of the Management Board of Zagrebačka banka.

Many Zagrebačka banka employees have personally shown their humanity and solidarity, participating in numerous organised humanitarian campaigns to help residents and their colleagues from the affected areas.

In order to alleviate the financial situation for clients from the areas affected by the series of earthquakes of 29 December 2020 in the Sisak-Moslavina County, Zagrebačka banka has also prepared a loan deferral option as a longer-term support measure.

Clients can read more about all relief measures and their terms and conditions at Zagrebačka banka's website.
