If you are a university student with excellent academic results looking for an opportunity for professional and personal growth, you have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills and you like teamwork, apply to the International Internship Program, the initiative launched by the UniCredit Foundation in collaboration with UniCredit, which offers the most brilliant  students the opportunity to carry out a curricular internship from 3 to 6 months in one of the Group countries in different business areas.




Our Offer


You will have the opportunity to live a stimulating internship experience in different and very challenging business areas:


- Corporate and Investment Banking

- Commercial Banking

- Finance and Controls

- Operating Functions


With the International Internship Program, UniCredit Foundation will support a maximum of 100 curricular internships. If you are selected, you will receive a monthly contribution from the UniCredit Foundation of 700 euros plus a refund up to 1000 Euros to support different expenses if any.


How to apply


This year's edition has been rethought to offer a curricular internship experience in full compliance with local regulations implemented in response to the Covid-19 health emergency.

The selection process will follow the steps provided by each local regulations also in terms of moving abroad.

This year local applications will be more sustainable, meaning native students or foreign students studying in the country with all documents required.

UniCredit London Branch Summer Internship Program is a 10-week program held between July and September, which will give you an introduction to the financial services industry and an insight into working life at UniCredit.


The program is designed to offer a broad and exciting experience of work and includes speakers' series, networking and social events.

You will be supported by a mentor/buddy to help you make the most of your journey and to explore where your talent belongs with on-the-job trainings and hands-on experience.



Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the business in the daily activities
  • Gaining exposure to client relationship management
  • Analyzing client and market data
  • Preparing materials and working on client presentations
  • Delivering analytical projects and conducting company research
  • Hands-on approach to learning the basics of the business

  • Excellent academic record (expect to attain a 2:1 or equivalent)
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • A motivated individual that demonstrates drive and enthusiasm
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strategic and creative thinking
  • Fluency in English is essential, additional language skills desirable
