UniCredit, Main Sponsor of the San Carlo Theatre. A renewed partnership supporting culture and territorial development.

Our commitment to supporting and enhancing culture

Once again this year, UniCredit proudly confirms its support as Main Sponsor alongside the San Carlo Theatre in Naples, a true institution of inestimable value for almost three centuries.

Commitment to the protection, support and enhancement of the various forms of art that make us unique on the international scene has in fact always been one of the bank's founding values.

Not only an active support in the production and promotion of the 2025/2026 theatre season, but also an active and concrete contribution in the realisation of social and educational projects: from creative listening workshops aimed at primary and secondary school children to projects for the access to employment of the youngest in the world of arts and entertainment at the Officine San Carlo, real creative forges in the area.

San Carlo Theatre: the 2026 season

Under the motto "Be Luminous", the 2025/2026 season of the San Carlo presents itself with 120 curtain raises encompassing opera, ballet, concerts and recitals, a programme that interweaves tradition and innovation, also including rediscoveries of works never performed in Naples and a significant opening to the contemporary. 2026 will bring to the stage some of the cornerstones of melodrama, from Falstaff to Lucia di Lammermoor, from La bohème to Werther, up to Turandot and closing with La Cenerentola. It is a journey that traverses the emotions and forms of the great repertoire, keeping alive its ability to speak to the present. Dance will play a central role with Soirée Balanchine, Coppélia and Boléro, three works that embrace different styles and sensibilities, from classical purity to theatrical vitality to Ravel's hypnotic rhythm. Completing the offering, special projects that look to contemporary art, including an intervention created for the San Carlo by Marina Abramović, a leading figure in international performance art.
