Concerto for Milan returns: UniCredit brings music to the heart of the city
Friday 05 June 2026
A night of music, emotion and shared experience under the stars, set against the timeless backdrop of Piazza del Duomo. Concerto for Milan returns to illuminate the city, and UniCredit is once again proud to help make this special moment possible.
On Saturday 13 June at 9 pm, Piazza Duomo will be transformed into a grand open-air theatre to host the renowned free concert by the Filarmonica della Scala, of which UniCredit is Main Partner. Each year, the event attracts thousands of people, united by the beauty of music, the desire to come together and the magic of one of the world’s most iconic settings. Open to all, and for the first time this year featuring 5,000 seated places. With Riccardo Chailly on the podium and the debut of Hayato Sumino, the programme spans a variety of musical worlds: from Gershwin’s jazz to the atmospheres of West Side Story, through to Rachmaninov and Shostakovich. A free evening of outstanding music in the heart of the city.
For UniCredit, supporting this event means much more than backing a musical performance. It represents a commitment to a shared experience and an opportunity to bring culture closer to people, making it accessible and inclusive.
"Bringing people together and strengthening communities lie at the heart of what culture can achieve. With the Filarmonica della Scala and Concerto for Milan, UniCredit aims to give back to the city by making music accessible to everyone. This goes beyond supporting an event: it means creating moments of connection and inspiration that can truly become limitless. Music can generate a lasting positive impact, and we will continue to support initiatives like this with conviction."
Andrea Orcel, Group CEO and Head of Italy
