The Board of Directors of UniCredit Group during today's meeting decided, in the context of the broader project of strengthening the managerial framework, to enlarge the Management Committee, a collegial body that includes the CEO and his Deputies as well as the heads of the Business Divisions and Competence Lines of the Group.
More specifically the following executives will become part of the Management Committee, being also appointed Senior Executive Vice Presidents:
- Marina Natale, named Head of the Private Banking Division by the Board of Directors.
- Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, CEO of Bank Pekao;
- Gabriele Piccini, Head of the Retail Division Italy
Marina Natale, who was until now in charge of the M&A & Business Development department, reports in her new role to the Deputy CEO, Sergio Ermotti, and succeeds Dario Frigerio, who will focus on his role as Head of the Asset Management Division and CEO of Pioneer Global Asset Management, reporting directly to the Group CEO Alessandro Profumo. Frigerio will therefore be able to concentrate fully on the further development of Asset Management, a strategic business for the Group, thus consolidating the excellent results achieved over the past years.
