UniCredit named best distributor of structured retail products in Austria, Germany and Eastern Europe

Annual industry awards confirm strength of UniCredit's distribution network

UniCredit has once again been recognised for its excellence in the distribution of structured retail products - coming away with a clutch of performance-related accolades at Structured Retail Products' 2020 Awards, including:

  • Best Distributor, Austria
  • Best Distributor, Germany & Austria
  • Best Distributor, Eastern Europe
  • Best Distributor / Best Performance, Germany
  • Best Distributor / Best Performance, Hungary
  • Best Distributor, Capital Protected

The SRP awards remain the only quant-driven, independent awards for the structured products industry and are based on sales volume and performance data.

This year's results are the culmination of a comprehensive data analysis performed by the publication covering the period of 1 September 2018 - 31 August 2019.

Commenting on this year's success, Algis Pabarcius, Head of Markets Sales, UniCredit, said: "These results reflect the intrinsic value of having a 'fully plugged-in' CIB across our core geographies, as well as the ability to innovate and adapt to client demand - especially with respect to capital protected products."

UniCredit's Private Investor Products team is responsible for the distribution of Markets products, across all asset classes, to the Group's extensive client franchise.

Acting as a sales organisation and product manufacturer, it develops best-in-class solutions to meet a broad spectrum of investment needs.

Pabarcius added: "We remain focused on delivering added value for our customers - leveraging on the close synergies between our distribution networks as we look to help our clients gain greater control over their portfolios."
