For the fifth consecutive year, UniCredit is proud to support Sound, Music!, a music project created by the Filarmonica della Scala for primary school children.
This year, the theme of Sound! Music is water, an element essential to the survival of humanity. This topic is not only relevant for Italy but also for Milan specifically, as it prepares for the Expo Milano 2015, which is themed, "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.".
Sound, Music! is comprised of two distinct stages. First, with the support of the Piccola Filarmonica della Scala Director's Alessandro Ferrari, Marcello Sirotti - the head of the Under 13 Orchestra of the Ricordi Music School - and Eleonora Moro, a professional theater techniques trainer, it will hold music and movement workshops for children aged 9 to 13 years old.
And then, to cap off the project, the children will perform a concert under the direction of Francesco Micheli and Maestro Alessandro Ferrari.
These events will take place on April 8, 9 and 11 at the Fabbrica del Vapore, Via Procaccini, 4 in Milan.
Events on April 8 and 9 are reserved exclusively for participating schools, while April 11 will be open to the public. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.geticket.it
