UniCredit has been shortlisted for the Ethical Corp Awards 2012 organized by Ethical Corporation to celebrate responsible business excellence by the global leaders in sustainability and corporate responsibility.
Over 260 entries were submitted from organizations worldwide to the 14 award categories which include among others best innovation, best employee engagement, best consumer engagement and business leader of the year.
UniCredit is one of the six nominees in the Best Employee Engagement category, thanks to the internal initiative "UniCredit Day 2011 on Sustainability: Making the Difference Every Day" that communicated and engaged Group colleagues in what sustainability is at UniCredit.
Last year's winners include leading brands such as Banco Santander, Unilever and L'Oreal. The 2012 awards ceremony will take place on 25th of June in Central London (UK).
