UniCredit is sponsor of a new exhibition dedicated to Andy Warhol, a leading figure of the pop art movement and one of the most celebrated artists of the 20th century.  The show is at Pisa's Blu - Palazzo d'Arte e Cultura from October 11 until February 2, 2014.

The show, curated by Walter Guadagnini and Claudia Bertram Ceppi, follows the success of Palazzo Blu's recent exhibition on the influential Russian painter and art theorist Wassily Kandinsky.

Andy Warhol: An American History features more than 150 of the artist's works, including his renowned "Flowers" painting from the UniCredit Art Collection.  Portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor, as well large canvas painting including "Dollars" and "Skull", are some of his other prominent pieces on display. "Knives", a painting that has returned to prominence in recent years as the cover image Roberto Saviano's bestselling book, Gomorra, can also be viewed.
