To celebrate its 20th anniversary, UniCredit Serbia recently launched the “For 20 years we have been working to start good things together” campaign. With this initiative, for every cash and revolving loan granted exceeding RSD 200,000 during November and December, the Bank will inject RSD 2,000 into sustainability projects.

In this period, over RSD 13 million has been raised in total, which will be invested throughout next year into projects to improve the preservation of flora and fauna, natural habitats of animal species, protected areas and biodiversity in Serbia. Among the areas that will receive support are: Kopaonik, Đerdap and Fruška gora national parks, Pešter field special nature reserve, natural monuments such as Sopotnica Waterfalls, Lisine, Resava cave, Zvezdara Forest, Byford’s Forest and Carska Bara and Karađorđevo special nature reserves.

Sustainable development, energy transition and green financing have been UniCredit’s focus for years. That is why we wanted to dedicate our 20th anniversary in Serbia to this topic, and to be a positive example together with our clients and point out the importance of preserving our country’s environment and natural resources. The success of this campaign is also the best confirmation that good projects and humane ideas are always recognised. We also thank the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Republic of Serbia for recognising our honest commitment to this topic and for being our partner next year to implement this campaign,” said Nikola Vuletić, CEO of UniCredit Serbia.
