We light up the spire of the bank's Milan headquarters in purple to raise awareness on pancreatic cancer.

The UniCredit Tower spire in Milan will light up in purple, in support of the 8th World Pancreatic Cancer Day.

“It's about time” is the slogan chosen for the 2021 campaign promoted by the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition to raise awareness of the symptoms and risk factors of pancreatic cancer and the need to adapt investments to the scale of this disease, which is the third leading cause of cancer death. Every day in the world there are 1358 new diagnoses of pancreatic cancer. This year the campaign is once again being promoted in Italy by the non-profit Nastro Viola Association.

By illuminating the spire of the UniCredit Tower, the Group intends to raise awareness of this serious disease.

 

Together we can make more 'noise' and give voice to patients, their families and also to those who, unfortunately, have lost this battle.
