UNICREDIT’S COMMITMENT TO THE SAFETY OF OUR PEOPLE
Thursday 05 November 2020
During these unprecedented times and the emerging second wave of the pandemic, many of our countries face a challenging period. UniCredit is well equipped to face it
At UniCredit, we constantly monitor the situation across all our geographies and always take prudent and cautious measures in line with, or above, Government’s recommendations.
Considering the latest Italian Decree, we reiterate the recent message from our Group COOs: we continue to strongly recommend that everyone working in our larger buildings, both team members and their managers, who are able to work remotely, should consider this as the preferred option.
We remind that it is mandatory for everyone to confirm their exact days of remote working, booking each slot on People Focus, well in advance.
Furthermore, employees who need to travel to/from/within regions in Italy considered at high or extreme risk can download the Employment Self Certificate by clicking on People Focus (People Focus / Self Service / Request / Declaration).
We will continue to do everything we can to support our people. As we reinforce our initiatives in this respect, please keep in mind the ones already available, such as our health insurance options for those who carry Covid-19 symptoms or test positive to the antibody test, our sustainable mobility partnerships, our dedicated help desk as well as the enriched welfare offer.
In our branch network, the accelerated digitalisation allows us to effectively address this second wave of Covid-19. As a matter of fact, we continue to invest in increasing the ability for our retail branch personnel to work remotely, nearly all clients are reachable and able to purchase products remotely and an extended product range is made available for remote sales.
As already communicated, physical customer meetings are by appointment only through UBook and we make sure all necessary Personal Protection Equipment and temperature scanners remain available.
Always remember that your managers are there to support you and respond to any questions you might have.
