Austrian Grand Prix: Racing in the Heart of the Alps
Thursday 26 June 2025
Scuderia Ferrari HP heads to one of the sport’s most scenic and technically challenging venues - the Spielberg Circuit, Austria. Framed by rolling hills and alpine beauty, the Austrian Grand Prix blends rich motorsport history with the promise of intense, wheel-to-wheel action.

From Zeltweg to Spielberg: An Evolving Legacy
Austria's F1 story began in 1964 at a temporary track on the Zeltweg military airfield. While the debut race was memorable, the bumpy and narrow surface proved unsuitable for modern F1 cars, and the event was soon moved. A few years later, the purpose-built Österreichring was born just a few kilometers away in Spielberg, offering a fast, flowing layout that remains a fan favorite to this day.
The Fastest Laps in the Game
Known for its short lap time, the Spielberg Circuit is the quickest on the calendar in terms of duration, often dipping below 65 seconds. This creates ultra-tight qualifying sessions, where even the smallest error can mean the difference between the front row and the midfield. Drivers push every inch of tarmac to the limit in the hunt for that elusive perfect lap.
A Region of Precision and Progress
The circuit is nestled in Styria, near the vibrant city of Graz - a hub for business, culture, and innovation. Graz is also home to a UniCredit presence, supporting the local economy and connecting communities across Austria. As a leading pan-European bank, UniCredit is proud to play a role in this dynamic region. As we are proud to stand beside Scuderia Ferrari HP as a committed long-term partner.
Whether it’s battles on the track or precision banking off it, speed, focus, and reliability remain at the core of everything we do.
