We all want to make a difference in our communities and create lasting, positive impacts on people’s lives. But how can we achieve this in practice?

2:00 min

In Episode 2 of our latest series of Conversations Unlocked, co-hosts Matt Thomas and Nikolina Zečić delve into the work of the UniCredit Foundation, exploring how it helps us give back to our communities.

In this episode, we are delighted to welcome our special guest, Rosa Bergmann, Founder and CEO of the education charity Hobby Lobby. Rosa speaks with Matt about her efforts to make informal education more accessible. In this insightful interview, we learn how education is about much more than just what happens in the classroom.

Rosa also shares the impact Hobby Lobby to date and how the UniCredit Foundation has been a crucial source of support for this new and growing educational charity.

“The Foundation keeps us going, helping us plan and tackle big issues” says Rosa.

We also feature the latest instalment of our new segment, the Conversations Unlocked ‘Culture Corner.’ In this episode, we are joined by Mara Helikum, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager at HVB, who responds to a question from Filippo Pili about how the bank’s social impact projects in Germany are shaping the company’s culture.

And of course, Matt and Nikolina keep us updated by sharing the latest news from across the UniCredit Group.

Stay tuned for more episodes of Conversations Unlocked this autumn, featuring colleagues from across Europe who will discuss the most exciting developments within our Group, demonstrating how we are ‘Unlocking a Better Bank for Tomorrow.’
