Since 2020 UniCredit has been Pitti Immagine's Main Partner, a leader in promoting the Italian fashion industry and design. This three-year collaboration continues to keep a strong spotlight on the fashion industry by listening and actively participating. An initiative which is highly functional to supporting the fashion sector, with a focus on themes such as innovation, sustainability and internationalisation.

The outstanding events created through this synergy include Pitti Uomo 103, the international benchmark event for men's fashion and lifestyle that took place in Florence from 10 to 13 January in the presence of 789 brands (40 percent international). The event hosted the main actors of international menswear, leading and emerging brands, and the most innovative projects, with a program full of previews and events. A crossover of fashion and lifestyle, capable of constantly creating new connections between different but never distant worlds.

 

 

The main themes of the exhibition included innovation and sustainability, two aspects that UniCredit considers crucial for sustainable business growth and for which it provides businesses with tailored advice and solutions. Levers capable of facilitating processes aimed at strengthening production chains and successfully accompanying the phase of ecological transition and strong innovation that is underway, supporting the business fabric and communities, even and especially in the complex current scenario. 

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Annalisa Areni, Head of Unicredit Client Strategies, emphasised that "Our Group is determined to facilitate the development of the Italian territories. We do this on several fronts, through the daily commitment of our team and network and by actively supporting special and relevant initiatives, such as those organised by Pitti Immagine. Our main goal is to promptly respond to the needs of the people, the community and the productive entities of the country, concretely helping them to unlock their potential. This is how we strengthen our role as a partner for the country's sustainable development." 

As part of the collaboration with Pitti, during the four days of Pitti Uomo 103, the UniCredit Theatre set up in Fortezza da Basso, the event's headquarters, hosted several meetings and talks on fashion, innovation, economics, sustainability and lifestyle.
