Over the past five years, UniCredit Unlocked released the trapped potential within our organisation, allowing us to move from laggard to leader and set a new benchmark for European banking. With 20 consecutive quarters of quality, profitable growth, unmatched efficiency and sector‑leading distributions, we are now ready to enter our next chapter: UniCredit Unlimited.

In this new phase, we build on our structural advantages, strengthen our commercial momentum and push our quality growth trajectory further — supported by targeted initiatives across people, products, technology and distribution.

A Clear Roadmap for the Future

UniCredit is now optimally positioned to act as the leading pan‑European bank, with a unique model that combines 13+1 empowered local banks and a unified Group strategy. Our distinctive mix of scale, diversification and execution discipline gives us a strong competitive edge, enabling us to deliver sustainable growth well ahead of peers.

Building on Our Structural Advantages

Our Geographies

With a presence across 13+1 markets and Top‑3 positions in 90% of them, we combine stability and growth: Italy as a capital‑light engine, Germany and Austria as resilient anchors, and CEE as a high‑growth region.

Our Clients

Serving more than 20 million clients across Europe, we provide personalised support through a seamless omnichannel model — from branches and remote advisory to digital platforms like buddy, already serving 800,000 clients and expected to reach 2 million by 2028.

Our Business & Product Factories

Our three global factories — Corporate, Individual and Payment Solutions — deliver best‑in‑class, capital‑light products that generate over 90% of Group Fees & Net Insurance, strengthening our value creation and client offering.

Our Financial Ambition

With UniCredit Unlimited, we shift decisively from unlocking potential to scaling sustainable quality growth.

We target:

  • ~€27.5bn Net Revenue by 2028 and directionally >€29bn by 2030
  • ~€13bn Net Profit by 2028, with RoTE >23%
  • €30bn ordinary distributions in the next three years, with further upside from excess capital
  • A cost base ~€9.2bn in 2028, trending below €9bn post‑2030

These ambitions build on our strong momentum after record FY25 results and a structurally more resilient business model.
