10 Days Until the International Journalism Festival!
UniCredit will be the main partner of the seventh annual 2013 International Journalism Festival, which will be held from April 24 to 28 in Perugia.
Several events organized by UniCredit for this year's festival can be followed live on Twitter from the @UniCredit_PR account, with the official hashtag #ijf13.
On Wednesday, April 24 at 3:00 p.m., the panel Social [In]Ability? will feature Renato Vichi, UniCredit's Head of Media Relations Italy. On Thursday, April 25, also at 3:00 p.m., the panel Internationalization, New Languages and the Economy: The Role of Banks will include Maurizio Beretta, our Head of Group Identity & Communications, and Giampiero Bergami, Head of Region Centro Nord, as a panelist. Mr. Beretta will also act as Jury President for the Una storia ancora da raccontare: Walter Tobagi award.
Moreover, we are co-sponsoring a panel on the Arab Spring on Friday, April 26. Conducted by Seyda Canepa and Farian Sabahi, the panel will also include a presentation of UniCredit's journal East.
Every year, the festival attracts some of the most prominent names in international journalism, as along with influential players in the economic and financial sectors. The festival's motto "No paywall here" refers to the fact that admission to all festival events is free of charge, a stance that is in keeping with UniCredit's commitment to making culture fully accessible to the public.
For those interested in communications and journalism, we look forward to seeing you in Perugia!
