The sixth outstanding edition of MILANO MUSIC WEEK, of which UniCredit was the Main Sponsor ended on November 27. A week filled with concerts, DJ sets, artists’ interviews, sector panels and workshops, which attracted people from all over Italy to Milan (for a total of more than 30 thousand registered attendees). The initiative brought together important artists of various generations and musical styles and dealt with current issues the music industry is facing and future scenarios.

A week that ended with a day filled with various events including an exclusive meet & greet and showcase with famous Italian duo Colapesce and Dimartino, special curators of this year’s Milano Music Week, in our very own UniCredit Tower Hall.

Selected guests and our UniCredit Italy Head of Client Strategies, Annalisa Areni and Ilaria Dalla Riva, Head of People & Culture Italy, were entertained by the duo during an exclusive interview by Filippo Ferrari, Editor of Rolling Stones magazine, where they shared their music experience and funny anecdotes before singing their best-known tunes.

This was preceded by awarding singer Claire Audrin, winner of the music contest promoted from 10 to 20 November by MMW aimed at young and emerging artists, in which more than 450 candidates participated and were tested by a technical jury composed of experts and organizers of Milano Music Week and UniCredit representatives.

Annalisa Areni, who awarded Claire with a personalized commemorative plaque commented "At UniCredit we have always supported music because we consider it a fundamental element for the sustainable social and economic development of the communities in which we operate. Thanks to numerous partnerships, we carry out projects that promote the approach of music to a wide and new audience and encourage contamination with the latest musical language. In addition, as in this case, we also develop and support projects to educate people about music and support young musicians. Therefore, I am very happy to have met and to be able to award Claire Audrin, who won this contest with her song 30 Million Seconds, and we are honored to have joined the City of Milan as the Main Sponsor of the Milan Music Week. This partnership strengthens and consolidates the cultural link with the city of Milan and its people, also confirming our closeness to the Milanese territory in which we have deep roots."
