This weekend, UniCredit will light up the spire of its Milan headquarters to reaffirm its strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
For the third year in a row, the spire of UniCredit Tower in Milan will be lit up in rainbow colours in support of Milan Pride. This year’s the event is part of the 24-hour Global Pride marathon, a completely virtual event broadcasting videos from across the worldwide LGBTQ+ Pride community.
By lighting up the spire of the UniCredit Tower – the tallest building in Milan – UniCredit shows its continued commitment to diversity and inclusion. This commitment is line with the bank’s core values of Ethics and Respect, which are essential for ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Group’s business model.
To celebrate the occasion, colleagues in Italy and Germany who are members of the Unicorns network – which unites all UniCredit employees passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and culture in our company – have helped colleagues prepare a short video from our bank to wish everyone “Happy Pride 2020.”
