The Foundation's focus is empowering our youth across Europe by providing them with equal education opportunities. We intend to expand their horizons, help them move forward successfully in their academic careers and make sure no one is left behind. We want to fight educational poverty by prioritising three areas of impact: School, Job and University.
The Educational System in UniCredit Countries
Inequalities in educational outcomes are prevalent across countries, posing significant challenges for schooling systems in delivering high-quality education to all children. This map offers an overview of the educational systems in each country within the UniCredit scope area, focusing on the PISA tests, the percentage of NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), and the percentage of youth with tertiary education. The countries covered include Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
By clicking on each country on the map, you can access a comprehensive analysis of its educational system. These country analyses are part of a research paper titled "Youth and Education: Possible Interventions and Strategic Planning" authored by Michela Carlana, Gaia Gaudenzi, and Giuliana Ghia (September 2023).
