Group stage

Arda Turan's 3-goal performance has earned him the last Player of the Week award of the Group Stage. Lionel Messi's 91st and 92nd goals in the UEFA Champions League on matchday 5 gave him his third Player of the Week title this year. Mesut Özil's world-class goal helped him to take home a 27 percent share of the poll and the title of #UCL Player of the Week on matchday 4. Leo Messi scored his sixth and seventh hat tricks vs. Celtic FC and Manchester City F.C. on Match Day 1 and Match Day 3, racking up two titles as #UCL Player of the Week. Meanwhile, on Match Day 2 it was Ricardo Quaresma who opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark with an unstoppable free kick from 22 meters out that whistled into Rudko's top left-hand corner.
