UniCredit informs that Alessandro Decio decided to leave the Group starting from January 1st, 2016 in order to pursue new professional opportunities.
Decio, who operated within the Group for more than 15 years managing top level positions both in Italy and abroad like the ultimate one as Group Chief Risk Officer, deeply contributed to the international development of the bank.
UniCredit CEO Federico Ghizzoni would like to thank Alessandro Decio for the job done in the past years, for successfully managing a key structure like the Risk Management in a period of full complexity and change and for ensuring a clean transition of the current function towards the current setting.
After the exit from the Group, Decio will retain his assignments as UniCredit representative in the Board of Directors of the companies within and outside the bank.
