Pioneer Investments: Global net inflows of 1 billion euros in November

GLOBAL NET INFLOWS OF €1 BILLION IN NOVEMBER
MAINLY DUE TO THE CONTRIBUTION OF GERMANY, USA AND NEW MARKETS

Net inflows of €995 million were achieved by Pioneer Investments in November, mainly due to the contribution of Germany (709), USA (252) and New Markets (188). Total Assets under Management stood at €220 billion.
Italy saw negative inflows of €106 million, during the month, strongly affected by the closing of some traditional insurance mandates (- €536 million) which was partly balanced from net sales of other products, in particular Segregated Accounts for €431 million.
Mutual funds (Italy Assogestioni perimeter) saw positive net sales for €171 million, whereas the Italian mutual funds Market produced negative sales of €2,3 billion during the same period. Market share in Italy reaches 15.32% (+ 8 basis point in the month and +18 basis points since the beginning of the year). Total Assets under Management of the division is stable at €109,6 billion.
Germany saw positive inflows of €709 billion, thanks to both retail and institutional. Total Assets under Management reached €45,3 billion.
The International division (ex Italy and Germany) saw negative flows of €47 million. Total Assets under Management stood at €12,4 billion.
The US closed the month with positive sales of €252 million. Total Assets under Management stood at €45,8 billion ($60,5 billion).
November, thanks to Poland contribution, is the best month in 2006 for New Markets division that saw positive sales of €188 million in the month. Total Assets under Management in this division reached €7 billion.
The Alternative Investments division (net flows and AuM data are included in the reported numbers for other divisions) reported positive flows in the month of €21 million. Total Assets under Management in Hedge Funds stood at €4.6 billion.
