Filarmonica della Scala is bringing its international Festival tour to Gstaad for an extraordinary concert on Friday 1 September 2018. This concert will be led by Andrey Boreyko who replaces Christoph Eschenbach due to health reasons. Andrey Boreyko was a guest of the La Scala last year for a concert of music by Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky. With Vilde Frang as the leading violin and Sol Gabetta the leading violoncello, the audience can expect an unforgettable evening. The programme will include Johannes Brahms' Concerto in la min. op. 102 and Antonín Dvořák's Symphony n. 8.
Every year, the renowned orchestra from Milan performs at some of the leading concert halls and festivals around the world.
UniCredit has been supporting Filarmonica della Scala as a partner since 2000 and in 2003 became its main partner. We are proud to present this extraordinary orchestra to the people of Gstaad. The most important part of the partnership between UniCredit and Filarmonica is that we share the same goal: to provide exceptional experiences to the communities that we serve in order to promote social well-being, inclusion and cohesiveness.
