This school year will be the second for a the new contest Economia... Ti diamo noi una lezione! ("Economics... Let's Have a Lesson!"), organized by the Osservatorio Permanente Giovani Editori in collaboration with UniCredit. This year contest involved almost 79,000 students in 3,033 classrooms form all Italy.
The contest is open to classes that are already participating in a program called Il Quotidiano in classe ("The Newspaper in the Classroom"). The aim of the contest is to inform younger students about how the real economy works and to teach them greater financial awareness as they learn to meet the challenges that await them.
UniCredit partners with this project because we aim to be close to our territories and because we believe in the young generations, and their education: a way to be part of an economic and social sustainable growth of the communities in which we live and work.
Almost all the papers has been sent and the jury will soon start to work to select this edition winners. Congratulation to all the participants.
