At the SMILE (Social Media Inside Large Enterprise) conference in London on 1 October, UniCredit presented its OneNet platform and its white paper to an audience of communication professionals working at large enterprises (Capgemini, Diageo, Tetra Pak, ...).
OneNet is the internal social network that connects UniCredit's employees, enabling them to support day-to-day work and drive the business. OneNet's main features - My Site, Community and WorkSpace - makes it possible for people to share information, generate ideas and collaborate from different locations, resulting in a more connected and efficient enterprise.
The OneNet white paper describes the strategic approach and the internal journey UniCredit embarked on to create the social networking platform and to promote its adoption. The white paper has been published under Creative Commons licence because UniCredit strongly believes in sharing knowledge and in exchanging best practices.
