According to the fourth edition of CSR Online Awards study, UniCredit is confirmed among the top ten companies with the 5th position in the Italian and in the European rankings, improving the result of last year (10°, with 12.5 points higher) and ranking with the highest position among the financial institutions.
UniCredit has distinguished itself for the capabilities of reporting its own sustainability performance and for responding promptly to requests from users, as a parameter it results first together with only two other companies that provide CSR direct contacts, compared to a total of 31 companies.
This result confirms that the path taken by the Group to enhance the content of sustainability and at the same time exploiting the potential offered by the network is the right one in view of ongoing dialogue with our stakeholders.
The study, conducted annually by Lundquist, a strategic communications consultancy specialising in online corporate communications, using an evaluation protocol of 79 criteria. The criteria were drawn up on the basis of a survey of more than 300 CSR professionals, sustainability experts and stakeholder representatives in 37 countries.
The results were presented in the 3rd Lundquist CSR Online Awards Seminar, that was held in Venice on the last 27-28 October, bringing together representatives from more than 50 leaders companies across Europe, all focused on a discussion of the future of corporate responsibility on the internet.
The fourth edition of the study highlights how the 100 European companies, included in FTSE Eurotop 100 index, and the 50 Italian companies, included in FTSE Italia All-Share index, use own corporate websites to communicate corporate social responsibility (CSR).
