UniCredit & Universities Foundation has launched the second edition of the post-doc research grant competition to be awarded to the best five research projects in economics or finance submitted by young European researchers.
Each grant is worth €10,000 gross per year. Grants will be awarded for a maximum duration of two years.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be born after 1975 at the time of applying (while for women the birth date may be increased by one year per child);
- have a PhD in economics or finance;
- be assistant professor or research assistant, or employed in any equivalent position at any accredited European university within the regions in which UniCredit is present. Associate and full professors are all excluded from the competition;
- present a research project not yet financed with funds generating income increase.
Candidates may only apply on-line using the application form available on the UniCredit & Universities Foundation website. Applications may be submitted until 31 October 2011. The winners will be announced by mid-December 2011.
