Dieter Rampl, Chairman of UniCredit & Universities Foundation, presented the activities and the goals of the Foundation in an interview published in Corriere della Sera.
Rampl underlined the growing commitment of our Group towards university and post-graduate studies, effectively testified by the creation of UniCredit & Universities Foundation in 2009.
In the last two years, the initiatives launched by the Foundation reached a true European dimension, offering scholarships and fellowships to students and researchers coming from any country of the geographical scope of UniCredit.
The funds allocated to the Foundation for its activities have also grown steadily over time up to 1.9 million in 2011, an increase of more than 30% over the last year.
Through its initiatives, UniCredit & Universities Foundation enables the best talents to continue their studies and research at the most prestigious universities in the world - such as the LSE in London, the Stockholm University, and Stanford or Chicago in the U.S.
