More than 80 universities and business schools and an equal number of companies - including Barilla, Bosch, Pirelli, Telecom, Fiat Group, Procter&Gamble - participated last week to the BIP project - Borsa Internazionale del Placement (International Placement Exchange) in Cernobbio (Como). UniCredit Group was present to show our strong commitment related to employer branding activities, while also re-confirming our interest in establishing fruitful relationships with the best Italian universities and business schools which share with us an international perspective and cross-border activities.
BIP is an event which has reached its second edition in 2008. It is becoming a meeting point where different stakeholders in job placement and campus recruiting can meet to facilitate benchmarking and networking. During BIP, UniCredit Group won the award for "Best Employer Branding Program", presenting UniQuest in the contest, UniCredit's internationally-oriented talent development program.
UniQuest was designed by UniCredit Human Resources Department in 2006, and its third edition is soon about to start. The program aims at identifying the most promising talent from all the banks, countries and business lines of UniCredit Group very soon in their careers, when they are still defined as young professionals. UniQuest is not a traditional training program, but it takes the form of a concrete and highly challenging "journey of innovation, learning and execution".
This is for sure a strong and competitive asset of the program, which captured BIP participants' attention and votes, up to the point to make them decide to turn it into the "Best Employer Branding Program" of the year.
