... Want to find out more right away? Here is a couple of things to know in a snapshot.

What is the New Europe Master in Banking and Entrepreneurship?

It is a post-graduate program (ASFOR accreditation), which specifically aims at providing the technical and practical understanding of the European banking system and of the multifaceted relationships between banks and business communities.

What differentiates the New Europe Master from other programs is the clear focus on banking and entrepreneurship, coupled with the opportunity to do a 3-month-internship, particularly in one of the banks /business areas of UniCredit Group. Plus, it provides participants with the chance to live in Italy and get closer to the Italian language and culture.

For whom is it the right program?

Ideally, applicants should be citizens of the Central and Eastern European countries where UniCredit Group is present.

Moreover, applicants should possess:

  • a university degree

  • a TOEFL or a similar certificate to testify the knowledge of the English language

  • letter of reference (e.g. from a university professor, or a company manager)

  • preferably one to two years of professional work experience

When does the program start and how long does it take to complete the Master degree?

The academic year 2008-2009 will start in October 2008. The duration of the Master program is one academic year - from October 2008 until September 2009. Students are invited to attend at least 1200 hours of classes, workshops and seminars, followed by a 3-month internship.
The internship part is a crucial piece of the program and is meant to provide the students with a concrete training on-the-job and practical experience, mostly within UniCredit Group. During their internships, students are also expected to work on their final thesis which will have to be presented in September 2009 to the academic commission in order to get the final appraisal and degree.

When is the application deadline?

It is July 15, 2008, only a couple of weeks from now!
