On Monday, November 4, 2019 Filarmonica della Scala will open the new season with a concert directed by Riccardo Chailly, music director of the Teatro alla Scala and principal conductor of the Filarmonica della Scala, dedicated to Beethoven, which marks the 250th anniversary of his birth in 2020. The Orchestra will perform two Symphonies, " la Seconda e la Terza, Eroica".

Chailly will return to the podium for a second concert, on May 11th 2020, with Kavakos interpreter of Beethoven's violin concert and the "Sesta Sinfonia Pastorale".

The new program comprises 10 major concerts featuring great conductors and soloists, some of whom are making their debut with the Orchestra.
Also for the next season, the Filarmonica della Scala is engaged in the Symphonic Season with the great classical symphonic cycles alongside works of the twentieth century, according to the orchestra style, between tradition and innovation.
