Turin International Book Fair 2016
UniCredit is supporting the XXIX Turin International Book Fair, which will be held at the Lingotto Fiere convention center from May 12 to 16.
The theme for this year's event, "Visioni" (Visions), is a tribute to visionaries who confront the future with their important work and strong expertise, stimulating innovation and the ongoing enrichment of our cultural heritage.
Innovation, the strengthening cultural identities and support for communities are fundamental to UniCredit's commitment to fostering the development of the territories where it operates.
"Visioni" is also the title of the piece artist Mimmo Paladino created expressly for the fair this year.
The fair will also unveil a new look in 2016 thanks to the work of Giovanna Milella, the President of the Foundation for Books, Music and Culture, and Ernesto Ferrero, the Editorial Director. More than 1,000 exhibitors - ranging from large editorial groups to small and medium-sized publishers - will participate in a rich program of conferences, debates, workshops with special guests from across the world and unique side events (Salone Off).
