For the 12th consecutive year, UniCredit is pleased to be the Main Partner of the Artissima International Fair of Contemporary Art. This 21st edition of the fair will run from November 7 - 9, 2014 at the Oval Lingotto Fiere in Turin.

In addition to serving as Main Partner, UniCredit will also stage the "Salotto UniCredit" on the first floor of the Oval. Located near the UniCredit VIP Lounge, this unique art zone will feature an exhibit of five photographs from the UniCredit Art Collection's repository of more than 4,000 photos from the 19th to the 21st century.

"Roma" by Olivo Barbieri, "Parma: 1984", "Marina di Ravenna, 1970" and "Senza titolo" by Luigi Ghirri and "Lo studio di A.S." by Paolo Ventura will be on display for the duration of the fair.

These carefully selected images demonstrate photography's power to not only precisely analyze and

narrate reality but also to create artificial yet plausible parallel realities. "Roma" depicts reality as we

know it; "Parma: 1984", "Marina di Ravenna, 1970" and "Senza titolo" show how reality can be

transformed; and "Lo studio di A.S." demonstrates how photography can fabricate a new reality.

The "Salotto UniCredit" will also display Fabio Roncato's "Untitled," a model of the UniCredit Tower. The model is adorned with pictures from Milan's markets, folded into origami butterflies. The model was originally created for #WeAreTowerParade, part of a series of UniCredit initiatives to celebrate our Group's 15th anniversary.

UniCredit's partnership with Artissima is in keeping with our ongoing support for art and culture, which fosters the social and economic development of communities where we operate.
