Around Monet: Landscapes From the 17th to the 20th Century
UniCredit is the main sponsor of a new exhibition curated by Linea d'ombra that traces representations of landscapes from the 17th century to the beginning of the 20th century.
The show, staged at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona from October 26, 2013 until February 9, 2014, divides more than 100 works of art into six sections.
Beginning with works from Poussin, Lorrain and the Venetian school, the exhibit then moves on to 19th century landscapes, followed by those influenced by realism and, finally, impressionism. The last section will be devoted entirely to Monet, with 25 master impressionist's paintings.
After Verona, the exhibition will be shared in Vicenza, at the Basilica Palladiana from February 22, 2013 until May 4, 2014.
