Brain Calling Fair 2012

For the third time UniCredit is the main sponsor of the annual "Brain Calling Fair" organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy, in collaboration with the Bocconi University, Politecnico di Milano and Torino and La Sapienza University in Rome.


The Brain Calling Fair is a great opportunity for students and young professionals to submit their innovative ideas and business cases to important international companies, who afterwards may help in their financing or implementation.  Submission of projects is free of costs and can be done online or during the Brain Calling Fair directly at the targeted company stand:


Milan, May 18th - Palazzo delle Stelline, Corso Magenta, 61

Rome, May 24th  - Tempio di Adriano, Piazza di Pietra


Companies participating in the Brain Calling Fair may pre-define topics in which they are interested or leave submission open to any entrepreneurial / innovative initiatives.

UniCredit selected the  first option, being interested in initiatives which may fit to the following content areas:


  • OPEN DATA - The initiatives in this area should exploit the opportunities of  the increasing availability of Open Data by public administrations. These data may become part of value added services to bank customers (individuals and small to medium enterprises) in this context it is asked to propose what could substantiate these services and what contribution and role should the Bank have.
  • GREEN CORPORATE AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY - Environmental concerns and climate change have an visible impact on operations and the strategy of banks. In this area we are looking for business solutions that promote a sustainable development leveraging on the opportunities and initiatives that make use of new technologies as enablers.
  • CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP - In a highly competitive and complex business environment how you interact and manage your customer relationship is a differentiating factor. We are interested to now how to increase and strengthen our customer relationship, with a special focus on individuals and small and medium enterprises, highlighting what the bank could do better and differently, in terms of products and services, responding to the needs and expectations of this customer segment.
