UniCredit Supports Sound, Music! with Filarmonica della Scala
Filarmonica della Scala, in cooperation with UniCredit, is launching the "Sound, Music!" project, which aims to bring children closer to music.
Conceived by director Francesco Micheli, the winner of the 2009 Abbiati Prize, the project is comprised of five events in May organized by the Filarmonica della Scala in cooperation with the Elfo Puccini Theatre, the Territorial School Office and the Brera Academy students. The project is supported by UniCredit.
The aim of this initiative is to provide primary school children with the opportunity to participate in a musical event.
The project's title comes from Act IV, Scene 1 of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, when Oberon calls out "Sound, Music!"
Events scheduled for May 11, 12, 13 and 17 are dedicated to primary school children from the city of Milan, while the May 21 show will be open to the public.
UniCredit and Filarmonica della Scala have been partners since 2000. Together, they promote the universal language of classical music, making it accessible to a broader public.
