UniCredit is the Main Sponsor of the "Expo Incontra Milano" Exhibition
UniCredit is the main sponsor of "Expo Incontra Milano", a number of cultural and social initiatives conceived to give citizens a taste of the big event: Expo 2015.
The first event will be Friday, February 4, with the inauguration of the "1906-2015: Verso l'Expo di Milano" show at the Triennial Exhibition. The theme of the show, "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life" is the same as the upcoming universal exposition, and it is particularly significant for UniCredit which supports issues related to sustainability and the creation of value over time for the communities in which it operates.
A major focus of the show will be on food, which is not just one of man's primary needs, but also a true cultural element through which civilizations have emerged and evolved.
This will be a traveling show, and after Milan it will visit several Italian cities over the next two years, including Venice, Turin, Palermo, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Verona, Naples, Bari, Genoa and Cagliari.
Several other initiatives are also planned in Milan for Saturday, February 5: the morning meeting and performance at the Teatro Dal Verme, and the Expo Stages located in several parts of the city from 2 PM to 6 PM.
UniCredit will be on stage with dedicated corners and will offer special initiatives concerning the UEFA Champions League. At five of these corners (Loggia dei Mercanti, Conca del Naviglio (in the park), Parco delle Basiliche (at San Lorenzo), Piazza Gramsci and Via Rovello, 2, the public will be able to participate in the "Take a Ticket" promotion (www.take-a-ticket.it) and will take part in entertainment activities.
The "Expo Incontra Milano" allows us to focus on communities and local markets with the awareness that, in order to grow, it is essential to be open to new concepts and the world, as reflected by our presence in fifty countries. It also serves as an opportunity to stress the Group's commitment to the economic and social development of our areas.
