    February 2011

From October 20 to February 6 of 2011, the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation is pleased to host the exhibition La Scultura Italiana del XXI Secolo (21st Century Italian Sculpture).

Five years after an exhibition on Italian sculpture of the 20th Century launched the 2005 opening of foundation's center on Via Solari, this new show will incorporate the works of 80 artists from the 21st Century. As an exploration of the latest Italian trends in the field, it will present a full range of expressions within the movement known as "new sculpture."

Curated by Marco Meneguzzo, the show will present works by artists born in the second half of the last century (Nunzio and Dessì), sculptors from recent generations, (Cattelan, Bartolini, Dynys, Arienti, Moro and Beecroft) and highly acclaimed young talent (Cecchini, Sissi, Demetz, Cuoghi, Sassolino, Simeti, Previdi and Gennari).

Amidst the ongoing innovation at the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation, one thing remains constant: the foundation's continuous promotion of Italian art at the national and international levels.

UniCredit is a partner of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation. Together, we support cultural activities aimed at enhancing contemporary art and the work of young talent.
