A new multifunctional cultural space within the restored structure of the Palazzo Firmian

UniCredit  has opened "Spazio Trento," a new multifunctional cultural space within the restored structure of UniCredit Banca historic offices in the Palazzo Firmian, Trento.

"Spazio Trento" was conceived with the purpose of hosting a wide range of cultural events, including conferences, presentations, exhibitions, musical performances and panel discussions with curators and other leading figures on the national and international cultural scenes.

The goal is to collect the city's various stimuli and use them to address important themes concerning local life and the present day, as well as to work with the community in creating activities that serve as new tools of communication for Trento and its surrounding areas.

The cultural space will be a venue for dialogue, both for and about the city, and will provide a forum that enables UniCredit Group to develop deeper relations with the territory. The exhibition hall thus functions as the expression and emblem of a company that listens to the community, supports it and plays an active role in it.

The opening of Spazio Trento on July 1 served as an occasion for the launch of its first exhibition, organized in collaboration with the MART, of which UniCredit Group has been the major partner since its founding. The show is entitled "Photographic Dialogues: Flavio Faganello and Gabriele Basilico." Curated by Gabriella Belli, the director of the MART, it takes us on a photographic journey through the images of two masters of different generations, Gabriele Basilico and the late Flavio Faganello. Their complementary perspectives, built around documentary views of architectural and natural landscapes, offer both a tribute to and a starting point for reflection on the ancient city where the Council of Trent was held, as well as on the character of a territory that blends tradition and innovation.
