UniCredit takes part to the cultural meeting FormA-Azione

  • 15

March 2008
Centro d'Arti Visive Visionario del Cec in via Asquini a Udine

UniCredit has been invited at FormA-Azione, museum-education-territory-company, the culturale meeting dedicated to the educational role of museums in the contemporary scene.

To start up projects, to introduce experiences in the field of art and education in Italy and abroad, to promote reflections on a new concept of museum as an active educational and development tool for the educational system, companies, different contexts and communities; that's the goal of the cultural meeting "FormA-Azione. Museo-scuola-territorio-impresa," taking place on March 14th and 16th (from 9:15 am) at Villa Manin di Passariano (Udine) and on 15th at Centro d'Arti Visive Visionario del Cec in via Asquini a Udine (always from 9.15 am). The meeting is curated by the Associazione Modidi-Museo dei bambini-Centro Remida di Passariano (Udine), and by the Educational Departments of Villa Manin-Centro d'Arte Contemporanea and Castello di Rivoli-Museo d'Arte Contemporanea.

During the 3-days meeting more than 30 international and Italian experts in the field of art, education and corporate responsability — among them Michelangelo Pistoletto, Jean Tormey, Fanny Serain, Rachel Brasier, Synthia Griffin, Francesco Bonami, and Catterina Seia from the UniCredit Group — will confront each other on the theme of a new concept of the museum and the educational activities.

On March 15th at the Centro d'Arti Visive Visionario del Cec Catterina Seia, Head of the UniCredit & Art project, will talk about and represent the UniCredit's commitment in the field of art and education as a part of an innovative way to conceive the corporate social responsibility actitivities. One of the main topic of the UniCredit's commitment in the field of art and culture is the value of the Art Experience and education: the Group believes that Art is a way to enhance group dynamics, as it can open minds, connect people and inspire them to share their values and embrace their differences.

Through several partnerships — with the Castello di Rivoli, the AMACI, the C4 Center Villa Caldogno, the MAMbo, the MART, the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro and Manifesta 7, among them — the UniCredit & Art project organizes many events, workshops and educational activities focused on the Art Experience, such as the UniCredit Art Day, Contemporary art: laboratory of thought and relations, Acrobazie 3, and several facilities for the employees at museum and institutions.
