First Group workshop on Industrial Relations and Social Dialogue

"UniCredit European Works Council: Improving Cooperation to Strengthen Social Dialogue" is the title of the project promoted jointly by UniCredit and the European Works Council that won the Call of Proposals of European Commission in the field of Occupation, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities.
The project aims at strengthening the EWC as a "bridge" between the Management and the Employees in order to built a corporate culture truly based on Group's and European values.The overall project provides for 2 main events and involves both the Employee Representatives elected in the EWC and the Human Resources Managers from 27 European Countries.
The first main event took place in UniManagement Center, Turin, on 5 March for a three-day session. Dieter Rampl, Group Chairman, opened the works.Participants were involved in round-tables with external guests, training sessions and teamworking activities, to get to know each other, share, get the tools and improve the network to better face the new challenges of Group internationalization and the goals of the EWC.
The second session, scheduled in May, will take place in the UniCredit HQ in Milan. Believing that Industrial Relations cover a strategic role in building a Company culture, this project, absolutely innovative, set the framework of a common shared protocol of social dialogue.
