THE ITALIAN ALPS TERRITORIES - between capitalism of the networks and local development
Promoted by seven UniCredit Local Committees of northern Italy (Alessandria-Asti-Cuneo; Pedemontana Lombarda; Torino-Canavese; Trento-Bolzano; Trieste-Gorizia; Udine-Pordenone; Valle d'Aosta), on July, 9th will be held in Bard (Aosta) the convention "The Italians Alps territories - Between capitalism of the networks and local development"
The event aims to encourage the debate on which socio economic development model has to be pursued for these mountain territories, stretching from Valle d'Aosta, in the west, to Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the east.
The target is to give a "public" significance to some substantial themes concerning the perspectives of the economy and the future of the communities living in these mountain areas.
Giuseppe Bordon - chairman of UniCredit Local Committee of Aosta Valley will open the workshop. After the welcome addresses by Luigi Giudobono Cavalchini Garofoli - chairman UniCredit Private Banking and by Luciano Caveri - chairman of the Aosta Valley Region, three introductory presentations by Dario Ceccarelli - researcher at dept. Politiche del Lavoro, Aosta Valley, Giampiero Maracchi - director of Institute of Biometeorology - National Research Council (CNR), Firenze and Angelo Pichierri - chairman IRES Piedmont.
Two round tables will animate the following sessions: the first one , titled "Problems, resources and opportunities of mountain areas". Francesco Antonioli - "Il sole 24 ore Nord Ovest", will lead the discussion, with the contribution of: Marco Camoletto - chairman of Canavese's technological district; Maria Luisa Coppa - chairman ASCOM, Turin; Gioachino Gobbi - chairman and ceo Grivel Srl, Courmayeur; Gianfranco Marten Perolino - chairman "Forza e Luce" Cooperative, Aosta; Stefano Masini - head of Environmental and Territorial Area Coldiretti; Pietro Monti - chairman UniCredit Local Committee of Trento-Bolzano; Luisa Vuillermoz - director of Fondation Grand Paradis, Cogne.
The second one, titled "Capitalism of the networks, governance and alpine areas development" , a debate with Luciano Caveri - chairman of the Aosta Valley Region; Evelina Christillin - chairman Fondazione Teatro Stabile Torino; Lorenzo Dellai - chairman of Autonomous Province of Trento; Roberto De Martin - general manager of Federlegno; Roberto Moisio - head of Piedmont Region presidency; Roberto Nicastro - deputy general manager. UniCredit Spa; Augusto Rollandin - chairman Compagnia Valdostana delle Acque Spa, Chatillon; Giuliano Zuccoli - chairman AEM Spa, Milan. Aldo Bonomi, director AAster Consortium, will lead the discussion.
