The networks of the territory: the UniCredit Local Committees and the soft economy
On July 19, in Bevagna (Perugia) at Torti Theatre the convention "The networks of the territory: the UniCredit Local Committees and the soft economy", promoted by UniCredit Local Committees of Bologna-Imola-Ferrara; Marche; Modena-Parma-Piacenza-Reggio Emilia; Ravenna-Rimini-Forlì Cesena; Umbria , together with Symbola - the Foundation for Italian Quality and ANCI/Res Tipica.
The meeting, that comes before the annual Symbola Foundation's Summer Seminar, wants to stimulate the debate on the soft economy development model, in which local districts join forces with companies, forming a partnership of knowledge, new technologies and tradition, and competitiveness is fuelled by vocational training, research, social unity and positive relations with the community. The event calls into action all those for whom quality and local talent is important: people and firms coming from the business and finance worlds, as well as representatives from active citizen groups, local bodies and authorities in order to pool their experience and find the way to export this development model in the global markets.
To welcome the participants, Maria Rita Lorenzetti, president of the Umbria Region and Riccardo Della Valle, responsible for relations with the local community UniCredit Group.
In the following session, two round tables on the specific issues of the "economy of quality" with accompaniment by Aldo Bonomi, Director of Aaster Consortium.
The first one, titled "The soft economy and networks of territorial typicality" a discussion with representatives of some National Associations of the "Cities of Identity": Nicola Alemanno, chairman of "Città dei Sapori" association; Roberto Angelucci, chairman of "Cittaslow" association; Stefano Collina, chairman of "Città della Ceramica" association; Rosario d'Acunto, chairman "Città della Nocciola" association; Antonella Galdi, head of Development and Tourism Area of ANCI (National Association of the Italian Communes); Vanessa Pallucchi, chairman Legambiente Umbria; Fiorello Primi, chairman "I Borghi più belli d'Italia" association.
The second one, "The soft economy and the networks of the global competition", a debate with entrepreneurs representing the soft economy of Umbria, Marche and Emilia Romagna Regions, local bodies, authorities and representatives of UniCredit Group.
