Artelibro, Festival del libro d'arte, 2007
"Leggere l'arte: pubblico, autori, editori" (Reading Art: Readers, Authors, Publishers) is the title of the 4th annual "Artelibro, Festival del Libro d'Arte (Artelibro, Art Book Festival) to be held in Bologna from 21 to 24 September 2007. The festival will open on the afternoon of Thursday, 20 September. The event will once again take place in the historic centre of Bologna, in Palazzo Re Enzo, Palazzo del Podestà and the Archaeological Museum of Bologna.
As official partner for three years now, and member of the Research Committee for the first year, UniCredit Group has chosen Artelibro and the city of Bologna - where UniCredit Banca has operations - as a preferred venue for consolidating its support and attention to cultural activities, which are a driver that contributes to the production of ideas, innovation and economic development. The underlying theme of the 2007 edition of Artelibro is communication and education as tools for the development of new audiences.
As in the past, UniCredit is participating by opening up to the public its historical headquarters of Palazzo Magnani, where several events on contemporary issues will be held.
This will be followed by two projects most related to its positioning: the meeting at the headquarters of Unindustria: "Arte, cultura d'impresa e sviluppo organizzativo" (Art, Corporate Culture and Organisational Development) and "Arte in Piazza" (Art Takes to the Streets), a family-oriented event in Piazza Maggiore on Sunday 23 September, which brings together the educational departments of the partners of the UniCredit & Art project: MAMbo, Castello di Rivoli and MART .
The press conference to present the definitive programme of "Artelibro Festival del Libro d'Arte" will be held on Thursday 13 September 2007 at 12:00 p.m. in the Stabat Mater hall of the Archiginnasio.
The programs of the conferences and the press release for Arte in Piazza are attached.
